Horizontal drainage with THOR pipe layers
Thor is our carried version of pipe layers. A machine that revolutionizes traditional soil drainage and irrigation methods.
It is designed to be connected directly to the tractor, without the need for particular hooks. It’s made of a sturdy platform frame and a comfortable walkway with access ladder for the operator who controls the flow of the pipe in the laying anchor.
The hydraulic system of the wheels is controlled by a laser receiving system complete with cable receiver and controlbox for the management of automatic and manual movements.
Its function consists of subsoiling with burial of a perforated pipe, laid by laser at a constant depth with desired slopes.
Thor is compatible with all laser transmitters on the market.
The roll holder can be hydraulically lowered to the ground to facilitate tube loading.
Pipe layers: characteristics
- DRAINAGE: excess water is conveyed into the pipe and discharged directly into the drainage channel adjacent to the field.
- IRRIGATION: by raising the water level, it channels water from the drainage ditches towards the center of the plain, sub-irrigating the soil.
